Nature's Balance

Nature’s Balance 2-3-1 Organic is a liquid fish hydrolysate fertilizer concentrate produced by COI (Connell Organics Inc). Nature’s Balance 2-3-1 Organic is made from fresh fish byproducts resulting in a product that is mild in odor. COI’s, use of low temperature enzymatic hydrolysis in its production process enables the natural proteins, nutrients, hormones and vitamins present in the fish to stay in their original form. This makes our product readily available to the microbial and fungal life in the soil and for absorption and use by plants. Other processing techniques used to produce fish emulsions and fish meal powders cause these beneficial ingredients to be denatured through exposure to high heat, stripping them of valuable protein and oil content.

  6. Natures Balance 231 Organic Liquid Fertilizer is NOP compliant and is registered for use in organic products by Washington State Department of Agriculture’s Organic program. We currently have clients certified by CCOF using this product.


General Application Information

Apply Nature’s Balance 2-3-1 Organic diluted with each spray application (apply to runoff, but excess will benefit soil nutrition, eventually feeding the plant) at approx. 100 parts water to 1 part Nature’s Balance 2-3-1 Organic up to approx. 2 weeks before harvest. Do not apply during the flowering stage as this may interfere with pollination.

Apply 3-5 gallons per acre per application.
Product can be applied on the ground in the spring or fall season to the root zone diluted 30 parts water to 1 part Nature’s Balance 2-3-1 Organic. Apply at a rate of 5-10 gallons per acre.  A soil or foliar application post-harvest is highly recommended.

Total requirement for season is approximately 25­ - 30 gallons of Nature’s Balance 2-3-1 Organic concentrate per acre, divided amongst these applications including post harvest.

Growers report sweeter fruit, higher Brix ratings, longer shelf life, no taste transference of product to fruit, and in some cases - earlier harvest and premium pay for quality.

Our location enables us to receive fresh fish carcasses for use in manufacturing our liquefied fish fertilizers. Our proprietary cold process uses the complete carcass providing our end product with a myriad of minerals and trace elements.
